Using MQSeries 5.3 on Win2k Server

Any suggestions on how to get messages from a Q to a file and log any errors that may have happened.

Would prefer stock IBM utility but can't seem to find one on our system although I see in a MQ 5.1 Admin Guide discussion about putFile and getFile.

Any thoughts for this newbie greatly appreciated

Hi,

There is nothing directly available in MQSeries to do what you want. But if you are not afraid of a little coding then you could take the source code for amqsput (amqsput0.c) and modify it to suit your needs.

Or you could hire one of the wonderful MQ consultants lurking in the shadows at [url]mqseries.net[/url] . hint, hint

Hi,

Download IH03 Support pack from IBM site. With this utility u can get messages from Q into files and vice versa.
