Hi All,
What is the difference between COMPUTE and FILTER NODES ? _________________ Being in a crowd when you are alone is ignorance. Enlightenment is being alone in a crowd; a feeling of oneness in a crowd. |

Try the MB Info center for basic doubts,
FYI .. The compute node can be used to create a new message or modify existing one, but the filter node cannot modify/create message. It is used mainly for routing message using the data in the incoming message or a DB. |

A Java Compute Node is also a good alternative to either filter or ESQL. _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks
