Hi All
I am facing an issue in creation of BAR file in WBIMB tool kit. I am able to create a domain and attach a broker.
While trying to create a Message Broker Archive through toolkit , In the popup window we need to select the Servers. The server names are listed on the window ,
The finish button is dissabled and upon upon selecting the server name I am getting a message
"Names cannot be empty" the finish button is not getting enabled and I am not able to proceed further.
I tried creating the default configuration and tested the pager application, its working fine. Even there I am able to see the bar file only in the application perspective but not in the administration perspective.
Am I missing some thing
Please provide your input

| Hmmm... can you create a new server project (either from within in the BAR wizard or externally)? |

Hi pbravic,
For the BAR file creation you need to select the server AND specify the name with which you want to create the BAR with(you'll find a text field names "File Name")....I guess you must have done it, but the error "Names cannot be empty" only means that...Please check.

Please find the process I followed
On click of the Message Broker Archive from the menu, I am getting a popup window.
In the Pop up window a tex box appears - requesting to "Enter or Select Server Project Name". The list of server projects created appear below
On selection/feeding of the server project I am getting "Names Cannot be Empty". |

Hi pbravic,
Yes that the same page i'm talking about...
I dont know if things have changed in v6.0 but there is supposed to be another text field available under the server names for u to enter the name of the file....once you do, the finish option will appear and also the error wil dissapear.
If you dont find it then i think you need to raise a PMR...AFTER someone confirms that the v6.0 page is the same as the v5 page.

I'm facing a similar issue on one of the servers where V6 toolkit is installed.
I've got 2 separate installations of Toolkit.
On my local machine, I installed using the installation DVD and everything works fine.
On one of the other servers, I installed using toolkit installation CD's. In this installation, I'm seeing the BAR file error what pbravic is facing.
Can anyone who has installed toolkit using installation CD's facing similar problems? |

| Guys, I had the same problem - you need to drag the bottom part of the pane so that the window is bigger... Very frustrating - kept me busy for a while... the Input box will then be visible. |

i had tried re installing the toolkit THREE TIMES! (Crazy)
