Dear All,
Kindly let me know whether a command (i mean with out toolkit or config proxy) is available to remove the broker components from Domain. I am trying to remove my broker components from Domain. I had added them to domain using -f option of mqsicreateexecutiongroup command.
I am working with Solaris 10, MB 6.1.0.2 and MQ 6.0
Regards,

Hi mqjeff, Thank you.
If i am not wrong, if am trying to move a broker from one domain to another, i have to delete the broker and recreate it. But, what i am trying to do is to migrate the broker from 6.1.0.2 to 8.0. To do this, i just need the broker out of the domain.
So, am looking for a command to remove the broker from domain. I am working in Solaris environment.
Regards,

You don't normally need to do this.
Once you've moved the broker to V8, you can't deploy to it from the Config Manager any more, so the reference in the Config Manager becomes redundant. Particularly, once the last broker in a domain has been migrated, the whole Config Manager becomes redundant.
However, if you really need to, you can remove brokers from the CM domain by following the instructions here: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmbhelp/v6r1m0/topic/com.ibm.etools.mft.doc/ae03400_.htm |
