Hi Guys,
We recently upgraded WMQ to 7.5 and Message Broker to 8.0.0.1.
As per the software requirements 8.0.0.1 is compatible with WMQ7.5 but when i tried to use the Broker Explorer 8.0.0-WS-MBX-WINIA32.exe it is not working when i downgrade MQ to 7.1..it works perfectly fine...did anyone encounter this problem? is there an installable for version 8.0.0.1? _________________ IBM ->Let's build a smarter planet |

There is a fixpack for MBX to go to 8.0.0.1 that is separate from the Runtime and Toolkit fixpacks. |

i have installed message broker explorer 8 fixpack 1..had no luck with this at all...when i started installation it complained that there is no MQExplorer installed and later i couldn't find it in the Start>>Programs.... _________________ IBM ->Let's build a smarter planet |

Neither the message broker explorer 8.0.0.0 nor 8.0.0.1 works with WebSphere MQ Explorer 7.5, I am opening a PMR with IBM. _________________ IBM ->Let's build a smarter planet |

Works for me. I have MQ 7.5 (full installation) and I installed MBX 8.0.0.1. |

hmm..Interesting...when i downgrade MQ Explorer to 7.0 and install the Broker explorer works perfectly fine....
but when i upgrade the MQ to 7.5..it crashes..

Did you install MQ explorer 7.5 from the support pac, or from the full MQ product?
I'm using Windows 7 with this particular combination. |
