Hi All,
We are currently exploring options to send a message from AS 400 to a WMQ queue.
#1 Can we install the WMQ client on AS400 and send/receive messages to a remote queue manager running on Windows ?
and on the AS400 use RPG for this ?
#2 Support Pac MA47

Does this option require the WMQ server also to be installed on the AS400 server ?
Are there any other options other than java and installing the WMQ server on the AS400 server ?

| This page talks about where the CCDT lives on iSeries, and there's nothing I saw immediately in the RPG docs that said you couldn't use it with a CCDT, so when you issue MQCONN it will look up the qmgr in the CCDT and should try to connect. |
