difference between fileinput node and fileread node ?

There is no difference between the two nodes.

They both do the same thing: exactly what the documentation says they do.

They both act on a FILE; one as INPUT, the other to READ.

The clue's in the name. More clues are in the documentation. Along with all the other information you'll need.

Fileinput starts a flow when a file arrives.

Fileread reads a file mid-flow.
