Hello,
The infocenter says:

Once activated, a backup queue manager can no longer be updated. |
Does it mean that, once I activate a backup queue manager, it's now a functional qmgr and would never be a backup queue manager again even if I end it?
I tried strmqm -r $THE_ACTIVATED_BACKUP_QMGR, and found the command still completes successfully, and tried strmqm -a $THE_ACTIVATED_BACKUP_QMGR, and find the command could complete successfully again too.
Thank you in adavance. _________________ Bazinga! |

See my previous post about re-establishing a back-up queue manager.

So the commands worked, but did you copy over some logs from the donor queue manager before running them?
And you could have just appended this post to your other thread _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
