Hi
I have installed MQ7 on Redhat. The mqm user is able perform all operations on mq. i have added the root user to the mqm group, but still root is not able to perform any mq operations. How to fix this.

Please help how to fix this issue.

Using the su command.

You should never use root to do anything other than install software.

Instead of root user, create a local user add it under mqm.
