Ask the application owner to look in their connection details and tell you? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

WMQ returns a ReasonCode to applications. Ask the client what was the ReasonCode.
You should look at the Errors folders/directories to see if the qmgr had any error(s) at the same date/time of the application failure to connect. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Look in the documentation you generated when the channels were defined; who requested them, what MCAUser they were allocated, what SSL they're using and so forth. Part of that will be which channel was allocated to that application.
Because with 50 channels clearly you'll have that documentation as part of your change control process. You won't have got to 50 channels just because another was allocated every time some random person asked for one... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
