Hi,
I'm using the SAPInput node in WMB 6.1.
Previous the SAP system was in codepage 1100 and it was working fine, the new SAP system is now in codepage 4102. When sending a iDoc from the SAP gui to the WMB system at SAP side there is a error message about codepage conversion.
I can select 4102 in the SAP Adapter configuration in WMB, however the deployment now fails with below errors.
BIP3450E: An adapter error occurred during the processing of a message. The adapter error message is 'RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE '.
BIP3414E: An attempt to attach the message flow node 'SAP Input' in message flow 'SAP_Adapter_P27' to the adapter component 'SAP_Adapter_P27.inadapter' failed. Reason: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE.
BIP4041E: Execution group 'DEV_OTHER_OUTBOUND' received an invalid configuration message.
BIP2087E: Broker BRKDEV01 was unable to process the internal configuration message.
At the moment of the deployment, below RFC error & RFC trace information is written bij WMB.

Based on the WMB 6.1 infocenter, the combination EN as Language and 4102 as codepage is not valid.

Each language code value has a code page number value associated with it. For example, the language code for English is EN. The SAP code page number for EN (English) is 1100. |

You may likely find better success on WMB V8.0.0.2 with this issue. Open a PMR to get the scoop. I suspect the SAP node on V6.1 will prevent you from being successful on that version and that IBM may not be willing to update that code.

You may likely find better success on WMB V8.0.0.2 with this issue. |
I wish that would be possible ...
Of course you are right that up-to-date software is important when having troubles, so I decided to upgrade WMB from 6.1.0.3 to 6.1.0.11, the broker itself did go OK, however when I download the Toolkit upgrade, I can't unzip it (tried 3 different unzip tools)
