Inside the UUID directory is a stdout and stderr file. Look inside the stdout file and will state the EG name. Also, in Syslog, the EG name is reported with the UUID in a Syslog message during startup. _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks

mqsilist will list the brokers (add -a for all versions)
mqsilist <brokername> will list the EGs
mqsilist <brokername> -e <execgroupname> will list the flows in the EG |

What part of the output of mqsilist did you find unhelpful? |

I dont see EG name in the path as mentioned above. Here is what i see inside stdout file.
Code: |
Redirecting stdout to /var/mqsi/components/broker1/edd8f46a-3401-0000-0080-af17ebb30df0/stdout
Redirecting stderr to /var/mqsi/components/broker1/edd8f46a-3401-0000-0080-af17ebb30df0/stderr
2011-12-23 07:46:26.834109 Execution group started. UUID is: 'edd8f46a-3401-0000-0080-af17ebb30df0'. Broker is: broker1

I would say, we don't need to go that far. Proper use of mqsilist will do the trick like zpat mentioned above. _________________ Regards

I tried to enter the mqsilist xxbroker but i found the following error
BIP1047E: The operation timed out waiting for a response.
The utility did not receive an expected response from the broker within a designated amount of time. The operation might have completed successfully, even though the response was not received.
Ensure that the broker is running and that the correct connection parameters have been supplied to the utility. Use the -w flag to increase the amount of time to wait for responses.
I am using MB7..and my broker administration on broker is disabled .... |

Change the configuration timeout setting on the broker (-k) to a larger value.
It will be slower to list, when it's just starting up. |
