Hi all,

I have created Queue Manager, Configuration manager and Broker run time components in my local system(OS:windows xp). Mq v 6.0.0.2 and MB is 6.1.0.2.

now i am trying to create domain connection from broker tool kit . it was giving an Mq error code 2195. in event viewer error is("The return code from the TCP/IP (ioctlsocket) call was 10038 (X'2736'). Record these values and tell the systems administrator."). i have attached screen shots here. (i am getting Mq error code 2195)

even default configuration is also giving same error, while creating from tool kit welcome screen.

finally the new broker domain has been created properly though the same issue had been faced before setting the environment variable(MQNOREMPOOL) value as 1. After setting this the domain connection got successful, but i am unable create another domain connection using another local queue manager. i have changed environment value as 3 and tried again for another domain connection, but no use. issue is still remain.

Regards,
G veerababu.

Perhaps you should use versions of the product that are in-support. For WMB, this would mean version 8. For WMQ, this would mean version 7.

Wow, I didn't realise that 6.1 and 7.0 had gone out of support?

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
