Fellow Message Broker developers!!

Need help!

I am new to WMB and trying to upgrade the current WMB 6.1 environment to WMB 7.0. When trying to test an HTTP request I am getting the folliowing error.

(0x03000000:NameValue):Text = '[DataDirect][ODBC lib] System information file not found. Please check the ODBCINI environment variable.' (CHARACTER)

Not sure where and what to update to correct this error.

Also..here is the error I get in the web when trying to acccess the HTTP URL..

Exception. BIP2230E: Error detected whilst processing a message in node 'com.conseco.hub.main.HUB_MAIN_FLOW.SetInitialEnvironment'. : /build/S700_P/src/DataFlowEngine/ImbComputeNode.cpp: 489: ImbComputeNode::evaluate: ComIbmComputeNode: com/conseco/hub/main/HUB_MAIN_FLOW#FCMComposite_1_6 BIP2393E: Database error: ODBC return code '-1' from data source ''HUBCTLDB'' using ODBC driver manager ''libbipodbc.a(odbc.so)''. : /build/S700_P/src/DataFlowEngine/ImbOdbc.cpp: 349: ImbOdbcHandle::checkRcInner: : BIP2322E: Database error: SQL State ''IM002''; Native Error Code '0'; Error Text ''[DataDirect][ODBC lib] System information file not found. Please check the ODBCINI environment variable.''. : /build/S700_P/src/DataFlowEngine/ImbOdbc.cpp: 518: ImbOdbcHandle::checkRcInner: : </text>

Thanks in advance for you help!

So the broker v7 environment has not been properly configured to allow compute nodes to access the ODBC datasources that they are configured to use.

In this case, it's the compute node in your HUB_MAIN_FLOW. And you didn't configure an ODBC datasource named HUBCTLDB.

Say "Hi" to Adam for me. And Bill and Don if they're both still there.

I'd start with the ODBCINI environment variable myself....
