I installed MQ7 on Fedora 15, and basic queueing seems to be working, but when I try to start MQExplorer, nothing happens. No output on the command line, and nothing in the system logs, as far as I can tell. Any idea where to look to get this thing working? |

Check your DISPLAY variable. The MQExplorer will take advantage of your X11 settings.
Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

IF you are using WMQ 7.0.x.y then you will probably need some additional rpm packages installed before you can use MQExplorer.
Start with libXp.
Use the 'ldd' command on the executable. This will tell you what libraries are missing. Then you can install the rpm's that contain them. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |
