Hi,

We have installed QFlex on one of our production servers with a db server name, sid and port. Now the data base is migrated to different server. We just want to know if there is any way where we can make Qflex to point to a different data base without reinstalling.
We have taken the snapshot in the new data base and the qflex has to point to this db.
When we searched in qflex for the db entries we have got

./bin/jakarta-tomcat-5.0.28/conf/Catalina/localhost/QFLEX.xml
./bin/jakarta-tomcat-5.0.28/conf/Catalina/localhost/qflex-ws-1.0.xml
./bin/sql/bin/oracle-install.sh
./bin/sql/bin/oracle-install.bat

We have changed the db names in ./bin/jakarta-tomcat-5.0.28/conf/Catalina/localhost/QFLEX.xml,
./bin/jakarta-tomcat-5.0.28/conf/Catalina/localhost/qflex-ws-1.0.xml
files and restarted the tomcat. But we were not able to connect to new data base.

We just want to know is it the correct procedure to change the db or is there any other process to follow to achieve this.

We have got the product in 2009 from the vendor. There was a free support for this product until 2010. Now product needs to be purchased for support which is in discussion stage with the client.
