Hi,
I want to create a message definition file from my set of schema. The entry
point schema (having main complex type declaration) has reference to other
complex types. I tried creating this by the wizard but the wizard only creates
the definition file for one xsd. Is there any option for intelligent select, auto-discovery of the imported schema and create the definition files for those too.
Regards,
Saurabh |

look at the 'import' and 'include' options in the XSD.
Then create the msxd for the other xsd's before doing the main one. Have them all in the message set project. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

Yes. I know this option and I am looking for some intelligent, auto-discovery for these import, include statements from the main xsds.
Is there any such option available? |

Use the command line tool mqsicreatemsgdefs. It imports all xsds in a folder ( and its subfolders), automatically fixing up includes/imports to match the new folder structure in the message set. |
