Hi All!

We have a mySAP adaptor setup configured for our broker and due to high volumes of SAP transactions, adaptor is taking too much time in delivering the IDOCs to/from broker runtime.

I am looking for answers for how we can achieve "Load Balancing" while using mySAP adaptor, so that I can setup the adaptor to effectively process high volumes from SAP.

Below are my questions...

1. Is it possible to run multiple adaptor threads to process SAP transactions parallely into the broker runtime?

2. Can we increase the adaptor JVM heap size exponentially without any negative impacts. Or what is the ideal heap size that we can maintain for this to achieve optimal performance out of the adaptor?

3. Is it ideal to have multiple adaptors running in the production environment and could this solve the load issues?

Please guide me to some references or links where I can look for more information on the above questions.

Thank you in advance

In my experience it is usually SAP that is taking the time to respond to broker.

How do you know that it is broker that is taking too much time?

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

We have multiple SAP outbound/inbound interfaces connected with broker because of which there is a huge volume issue as these many interfaces will get the files from SAP paralley in production. During which the mySAP adaptor will get hit by too many triggers thereby taking too much time in creating the IDOCs and vice varsa.
