I would expect that you have the wrong file permissions on the /var/mqm system or on strmqm

Why did you stop the queue manager? Was it so a change / maintenance could be performed on the hosting system? If so, what?

I agree with my most worthy associate that the file system permissions have changed, or the file system itself has been moved (i.e. from local to NFS).

After a successful install of WMQ software, you should not have to change filesystem permissions. Do so at your own risk.

Yes.Recently our applications havs been moved to new servers by unix team and queue managers worked fine. But we are unable to connect through broker domains.its one of the queue managers related to configuaration manager. So I had stopped it and started it.When I am starting it I got the above mentioned issues.

Is there any alternative ways to resolve this issue ?

Yes. Get the Unix teams to fix the file permissions. Both WMQ & WMB have very specific needs for their file system security which are catered for by the relevant install process. It looks to me a lot like the WMQ / WMB software was "moved" to the new server rather than installed there.

Moral: Unless you really know the impact of what your are doing, do not change permissions or ownership in /opt/mqm or /var/mqm.
