kind of an odd question this.
As part of a decommisioning exercise I want to prevent a queue manager from being started (on Aix MQv5.3). The obvious answer is to find the script thats starting it - but thats easier said then done!
Is their a relatively safe way of disabling the queue manager from starting when anyone issues the strmqm command ? (but i do need to be able to reverse this easily incase I need to allow the queue manager to be started again).
The only reliable way I know to do this is to remark out its entries in the mqs.ini file. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys.
