Is it best to use ODBC or JDBC when connecting to DB2 from WMB.
Is there a general advantage of one over the other ? |

Maybe Gideon can write ESQL and Java, and would like to know the non-functional implications, e.g. performance, and any other aspects that might make one strategy better than the other when using compute nodes?
To be fair, he could test performance himself of course [/b] |

Plausible. Does open up that hairy old debate of "which is better - ESQL or Java?"
(For the record, the answer is "it depends")
Of course, Java allows the use of Singletons..... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
