Hi - I have a similar problem that on

I had MB and Toolkit at 7.0.1 level, on Windows XP, all working OK, playing with samples. Very interesting.

Today I updated MB to 7.0.0.2 and Kit to 7.0.0.201.
Now all kind of JVM related error occur - I have Java Run Time "1.6.0_26" :

MQSILIST -> BIP7064S: Failed to create VM (-1)
Event Log -> filled up with "unable to verify Java level"

A mismatch I can detect is that ..

a) in a "normal" command line the command "java -version" says

java version "1.6.0_26"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_26-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 20.1-b02, mixed mode, sharing)

... which is CORRECT, but the "MB Command Line" says

MQSI 7.0.0.2
C:\Program Files\IBM\MQSI\7.0

C:\Program Files\IBM\MQSI\7.0>java -vesion
Registry key 'Software\IBM\Java2 Runtime Environment\CurrentVersion'
has value '1.5.0', but '1.6' is required.
Error: could not find java.dll
Error: could not find Java SE Runtime Environment.

Any clue is welcome, except "reinstall, jejeje, or PMR ... jejeje

Well, it looks to me that installing MB 7.0.0.2 fix,
and Toolkit 7.0.0.201 patch in a row ... did the trouble.

I have un-installed MB, then installed MB 7.0.0.1, then fix to 7.0.0.2,
and all runs ok : Java found, Broker starts ... etc
