How do I change the default download manager for Firefox? I just downloaded FlashGet, a new download manager, and its great. However, although I set it as the default manager for downloads, i still need to drag the download link to the program. Whenever I click a download, it just continues to open the Windows download manager (for firefox).

Did you check if firefox has a plugin for FlashGet?

You faced some issue while downloading ? You were trying to download mq code / documents ?
By the way, You can check 'Tools' in Menu of Firefox and go for 'Downloads' and/or 'Add-ons' and/or 'Options > Advanced > Update' to set the features for automatic updates. ( Most importantly have the latest firefox )
