We are in the process of upgrading from 6.1.0.3 to 6.1.0.9
There is one 'funny' that we have encountered in relation to the SAP connectivity.
1) Flow A uses Adapter A to update a value in CRM via a BAPI.
2) You can manually inquire in CRM and see that the updated value is there.
3) Flow B uses Adapter B to read the updated value in CRM via anothe BAPI
The data that is returned to Flow B and thence to Portal, is the OLD Data.
We never saw this issue in 6.1.0.3 but it is consitent in 6.1.0.9. We really don't want to roll back to 6.1.0.3 as the changes to Connection Management in the later versions of 6.1 will make things a lot better all round.
Is this a known issue? Could it be due to the way the SAP/CRM connections are now managed?
Has anyone else experienced this problem? _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

Yes it is. If it wasn't then acessing it via SAP itself would not return the updated value. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Have you verified the SAP DB?
Sometimes SAP transaction reads the data from a function module cache.
If you just updated and have not yet committed the data might be in the function module and thus cached... (if you are hitting the same SAP appserver ) _________________ MQ & Broker admin
