When I try to delete my configmgr, I get this error below, can someone hep me troublshoot
mqsideleteconfigmgr IS_CFGMGR
WebSphere MQ queue manager running.
BIP8052E: Unable to delete WebSphere MQ Object 'SYSTEM.BKR.CONFIG' from Queue Manager 'ISQM1'.
This command attempts to delete a WebSphere MQ Object but was unable to do so.
Locate and resolve the problem and retry the command. This could be because a WebSphere MQ channel is still running. If this is the case, stop all WebSphere MQ channels running on behalf of this Queue Manager.

Is it? If so:

An alternative would be to find whatever's using it (presumably an instance of Toolkit) and disconnect it.
Other alternatives are undoubtably available. But there wasn't space to include them in the error message. The reading of which clearly isn't your first choice of troubelshooting technique.
You could also try deleting the object manually and see what happens. This would also yield helpful information. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Something has a channel open and a queue open for read/write.
The easiest way to solve this is to stop the queue manager. Then restart thw QM and then delete the objects. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |
