Hi,
I have a requirement to use a JavaCompute node to write to an output file. I have not started development because although, I have the plan for the Java class, I am not sure, what I should propagate to the Finish terminal of the FileOutput node.
If I understand correctly, the Finish terminal probably tells the FileOutput node to initiate 'file close' activity. Therefore, it does not make sense to connect the Out terminal of JavaCompute to Finish of FileOutput terminal. So, I should perhaps be connecting the Alt terminal of JavaCompute to Finish terminal of FileOutput; but, what message should I be passing ? _________________ ALL opinions are welcome.

As per the documentation "Any message received on the Finish File terminal causes finish processing to commence". _________________ Never let the facts get in the way of a good theory. |
