Hello,
i try to install WMB 7.0 on RedHat in this way:
- install MQ 7 from rpm from root account (install program create account and group mqm)
- install WMB 7 from root account from ./setup -console
- i give owner mqm to /opt/mqsi and /var/mqsi
- i dont create user and group mqbrkr
and
- setting mqsiprofile from mqm user
- create broker from mqm user
- append starting broker with starting MQ (service)
- when i try connect to WMB from Windows MB Explorer i must change channel to SVRCONN, because default SYSTEM.BRK.CONFIG does't connect me to WMB
My question is: This way is correct ? maybe someone install in easiest way ?

Why are you not following the installation instructions contained in the documentation?
Why did you decide NOT to create the mqbrkrs group?
There is a support pack that will let you start WMQ as a Linux Service on LSB compliant Linux. RHEL is LSB compliant. (msl1 if I remember correctly)
I've also used this as the basis of a script to start brokers on RHEL distro's.
Please tell us why you did it the way you did? Broker needs to use the mqbrkrs group

I read installation instructions, but if i install with instruction, many files in /opt/mqsi is user/group bin owner, many files mqbrkr owner and root.
I don't now it is good, and i ask 
I install msl1 but this support pack is only for WMQ, not for WMB and i use command mqsicreatebroker with "-d defined" switch. |

It is good! That is why they are there.
I said to use the msl1 script as the basis of a script to start/stop the created broker at system boot time. You need to understand how the values in the script affect the order in which things get started but I guess that is a bit too advanced for what you want to do.
The installation instructions are there for a purpose. You seem to have a problem with the ownership of files. Why don't you use the ones set by the installer and see if it gives you problems. (It won't btw)

I have to try again install with instructions - maybe i'm doing something wrong. |
