Hi

I am running a WTX 8.3 map in WMB 7.0 to update an XML file into data base table coloumn which is defined as blob,
using target database adpater and mdq file in output card, I used update key setting in my .mdq file

Issue is my TX map is not throwing any error, but xml file is also not getting updated in the table unble to get trace(.dbl)..

Please share us some thoughts on how to get trace..and what could be the issues..

When you try the map using sample data and the WTX Design Studio does the table get updated with your expected results?

When you add a Trace node with ${ExceptionList} as the pattern to the Failure Terminal of the WTX node what do you notice?

You can directly insert a XML document as BLOB into a database table by suitably parsing it in ESQL, is there any reason why you have to do this via WTX?
