Websphere Message Queue & Message Broker System Engineer /Administrator
Duration 6+ Month
***Must be able to work for any employer in the U.S.
*Location: Position can be located in: Jacksonville FL or Charlotte NC
Description:
* Provide Software Support for IBM WMQ in large Windows, UNIX, Linux and Mainframe environment.
* Resource must have 6 - 10 years z/OS, pSeries, Linux, Windows WMQ and Broker experience. Experience must include configuration, installation and administration of Brokers inclusive deploys and manage execution groups, independent of platform. SMP/E experience a plus.
Duties include: project support, including IBM WMQ software installation/upgrades, CSD maintenance, standards and new feature/functionality development / testing / implementation for new initiatives / BAU requests within existing infrastructure and documentation.
Responsible for 24x7 on call support through regular rotation that includes Triage participation and vendor problem management. Minimum of 6-10 years experience supporting WMQ within UNIX/ Windows/ Linux/ Mainframe environments. Strong project management skills a must, as resource will need to support multiple projects at the same time. Fast pace environment. Resource must enjoy to multitasking and be resourceful when gathering requirements, answers, problem resolutions, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for working with teams across the enterprise. WMB and WMQ certification a plus. Previous upgrade to V6 or V7 for WMQ and WMB required. Must be familiar with Broker deploy function. Create Configuration manager, toolkit. Brokers, Queue Managers, define Objects, channels, SSL, Clustering, shared channels, shared objects. Refresh Cluster, partial repository, remove clustered object, familiar with WMQ API. Scripting experience on various OS a plus.[list=][/list] |

Clearly, with those duties, must have AND 24x7, you're paying in excess of 100K/annum, right? Or at least $100/hour?
Or are you looking to sponsor for visas?
