I am working on automating MQFixpac installation/uninstalltion script for AIX server for WMQ 7. The script is prepared such that it works for all version without changes. I have made this working for installing using -f '_all_latest' with providing complete path. It worked perfectly. However, while uninstalling the fixpac( rejecting the latest fixes from smitty menu), I am having issues with gsksa and gskta modules.

Let me be more clear. Although the script should be generic one so should work with any version of fixpac installatin/uninstalltion, however, I am testing it with 7.0.1.1 (existing version) and 7.0.1.2 as the latest fixpac.

Before I install the fixpac, the gsksa and gskta are of version 7.0.4.23 as below:

gsksa.rte 7.0.4.23 C F AIX Certificate and SSL Base
gskta.rte 7.0.4.23 C F AIX Certificate and SSL Base

After I installed the fixpac 7.0.1.2 and checked, their version is 7.0.4.27 as follows:

gsksa.rte 7.0.4.27 C F AIX Certificate and SSL Base
gskta.rte 7.0.4.27 C F AIX Certificate and SSL Base

I am also preparing rejecting latest fixpac in case if the fixpac causes any problem special in production. I tested the rejection of the latest fixpac using smitty as well as using script( generated by smitty). I am able to do it for MQ related modules eg:
mqm.base.runtime 7.0.1.1 A F WebSphere MQ Runtime for
mqm.base.samples 7.0.1.1 A F WebSphere MQ Samples
mqm.base.sdk 7.0.1.1 A F WebSphere MQ Base Kit for
mqm.client.rte 7.0.1.1 A F WebSphere MQ Client for AIX
mqm.java.rte 7.0.1.1 A F WebSphere MQ Java Client, JMS
mqm.jre.rte 7.0.1.1 A F WebSphere MQ Java Runtime
mqm.keyman.rte 7.0.1.1 A F WebSphere MQ Support for GSKit
mqm.server.rte 7.0.1.1 A F WebSphere MQ Server
mqm.txclient.rte 7.0.1.1 A F WebSphere MQ Extended

However, I could not find a way to reject the updates on gsk modules. They do not appear on rejection list. I figured out that they are installed and committed at the same time( I am not sure how gsk modules are committed while installing with the same option and MQ not)

My questions are:

If I leave these newer version of gsk* 7.0.4.27 with previous version of WMQ 7.0.1.1, will it cause any problem ? Will it work ?

Is there a way to uninstall the upgrade (fixpac) on gsk as in WMQ? It seems that the gsk upgrades is committed which is illogical as I have installed both mq and gsk with the same option (choose commit software no in smitty) and MQ modules are not committed but gsk modules are.
