Noticed something today while I was doing a local perfromance test, that maybe someone can explain ?
The flow under test is very simple and the important (I suppose) part of it is that it includes an MQGet node which does a browse for the first message on a queue (the browse cursor is reset for each invocation). Input arrives via HTTP.
Everything works fine functionally.
When I run the test under load (say 10000 iterations) I get an average thru-put value of about 60/sec.
If I open MQ Explorer and re-run the same test I get a boost in thru-put to about 105/sec
I can toggle this by opening/closing MQExplorer.
Why is this important ? ... well we do run some local non functional tests to get a feel for how performance is looking during development. So such a big difference might make us more/less confident about where we wre likely to end up.
