Hello Everyone,
Anyone know how to count the server side bindings on a server. Is there something out there that would tell me how many current connections I have and what the max is as well?
I would like to be able to count the number of server side bindings on a particular server that has MQ_V.5.2 and Websphere_V3.5 on it.
The idea here is getting a number of connections from websphere to the mqqueue manager.
Any home grown code, utilities....???

Praveen,
Although not a home grown tool, QN-AppWatch could provide this for you. www.reconda.com. |

QN-App watch huh! Interesting.
Have you ever worked with this tool before? If it is able to count the number of server side bindings (connections from Websphere to MQ), it might prove helpful to us.
Any pros/cons about this tool?

Praveen,
As the vendor we think our solution is pretty cool with more pros than cons. However, I invite you to check it out for yourself. We offer a 30-day evaluation at www.reconda.com. It is a full-function version of our software and has a limit of 25 Queue Managers. It will time out after 30-days unless you get a sales person to give you an extension or purchase the product after evaluation. It requires a single server install on either AIX, Solaris, NT or 2000 platform. |
