Hi Guys,

I am in the situation where a "Auto Explicit Cluster Sender" as been created based on a wrong definition on a partial cluster. I realized so and fixed the problem but the wrong "Auto Explicit Cluster Sender" won't be recreated based on the new and fixed definition.

So, how can I delete or ask QM to recreate an "Auto Explicit Cluster Sender"?

Best regards.

What was the problem and how did you solve?
Did you remove the PR qmgr from cluster while correcting the error?

The problem what a bad exit definition on the "Cluster Receiver" in the Full Repository (FR) qmgr. So I removed the exit definition and the "Cluster Receiver" in the FR qmgr without removing it from the cluster.

Now on the Partial Reposioty the "Auto Explicit Cluster Sender" contains the bas exit definition and won't start "CSQX535E MU51 CSQXRCTL Channel TO.WU01 stopping because exit wmqcml is not valid".

I want to delete this so it can create a new "Auto Explicit Cluster Sender" based on the fixed "Cluster Receiver" definition of the FR QMGR...

Also I have a "Cluster Sender" that I defined on the PR but when I start that one it start the "Auto Explicit Cluster Sender" instead of the explicite one I create...

Its driving me nuts...

I solved my issue by removing the PR QMGR from the cluster using WMQ Explorer and then adding it again. The new definition was created using the lastest cluster receiver from the FR.

Thanks.

Another option is-
As the changes were on FR, you could have issued Refresh Cluster command on PR to let it take the latest info from FR.

I'd actually recommend to use mqsc commands for any work on queue manager cluster level whereever possible instead of using MQ Explorer. May not be one for your case.
