Hi everybody,
Let's see if you can help me, this is my problem:
I want to send to an output queue a text message (not Xml). The input message is an Xml and I use the MRM to transform the input message to a text message. The length of the output message has to be 1800. In most of the cases I get this length but if in a tag of the input xml arrives for example: "energÃa", the output message goes with one character less (1799). How can I resolve this problem? Maybe a CAST with a CCSID???
The toolkit version I'm using is 5.0.8
Thank you very much and sorry about my english |

What is the CCSID of the input XML? What is the required CCSID of the output text message (to support these national characters), and what is it currently? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

1800 bytes? Or 1800 characters?
If the output message's ccsid is not a single-byte character set, then make sure to set the "Length Units" property as needed, for each element in the message set. |
