I just installed OMEGAMON XE MQ successfully (TEMS, TEPS and an agent on a machine running 7 queue managers). I was wondering is there any documentation available on how to use the candle net portal window?

IBM do not seem to have the personel with the know-how where I am based and all the documentation I have read does not seem to help. More or less looking for a step by step guide on setting up situations to be monitored etc. How to use the different panes and so on, i.e. Omegamon for Dummies. I have been tasked with setting up MQ monitoring by my company and only have a few more days left before I have to demo it and have now hit a brick wall.

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Morrisea,
I will be glad to help. I am a Tivoli Technical Specialist and have been working with the OMEGAMONs for many years .

The built-in help in the portal has very good step by step instructions
select; Help --> Tivoli Enterprise Portal Tour --> Situations
