Hi,

i am facing one problem which i am explaining below
1) I have a requirement , for that i am using JMS Bridge for connecting the external system.
2) Since external system is not available till production , i need to do the simulation for the same
3) As part of the simulation i have done the following steps
i) created two weblogic domains ( domain1, domain2 (external system domain)
ii) created jms server in each domain
iii)created jms module for each domain
iv)created connection factory for each module
v) created two queues ( requestqueue, responsequeue) for each module
vi)created 4 jms destination for each queue in domain1
vii)created 2 jms bridge connecting to 4 jms destinations in domain1

Here is my requirement
with the above steps i could able to test the sending and receiving messages using JMS bridge is successful

But my requirement here is , before sending message to the external system i would like to know if the destination is down or not ?
i am focefully make the destination server is down but client program ( which sent messages to the external system ) is not throwing any excetion because it connects to jms bridge.

how to find the destination is down when i am using the JMS bridge approach ?

Please send your suggestion asap.

Why should your sender program know this? or care?
