Has anyone tried to install different versions (e.g., MQ6.x and MQ7.x) on a single Solaris 10 server using zones?
I *think* it might be possible if the zones were whole-root zones. http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg21233258.
(Are you all getting tired of me asking Solaris zone questions? I know IBM must be tired of me opening PMRs about it. First new server is to be available next week, so these questions will move from theoretical to practical very soon.)

No. Given that these are new servers, why would you want to?
Subject to the workaround given. Do let us know how it works out...

At least you're reading the documentation before asking questions... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
