Can some one help me answer this:

what is the size of File system needed for MQ Client as compared with MQ Server installation.

Does MQ client stores data the way Server software does?

Thanks in advance.

Look through the Quick Beginnings manual applicable for your platfom, it usually states it in there. And if client stored data the same way as server, it wouldn't be called client

Is this a serious question? The obvious answer is no because:

It does not, in the same way a database client doesn't.

You really need to think about what a client actually is and does. Or think of a better joke.

Perhaps the question is: what is the footprint size for both client and server.
