As a follow-on to my earlier posting about MQ on Solaris 10 zones (http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=50425), I have essentially the same question about WMB-- has anyone installed WMB 6.1 on a global zone/sparse zone combination?
The WMB Info Center says that IBM supports all the same zone configurations for WMB that it supports for MQ. (And yes, this is a supported ocnfiguration for MQ.) Unlike the MQ Info Center, however, the WMB documentation does not provide any guidance or any warnings about "gotchas". I have opened a PMR to get IBM's thoughts.
Has anyone done this? In looking at it, I really think it *should* work. Famous last words. |

Yes, and it did. Installed the same way as WMQ and it worked fine.
