Hi,
We are using MQ 7.0.0.2 on solaris as the JMS provider and WAS6.1 on the same server as a JMS consumer.
We can create the JMS .Bindings file with the JMSAdmin tool under '/opt/mqm/java/bin' or else on WAS using Admin console.
Questions:
1. What is the best practice in creating the JMS objects(queue connection factories and queue connections) either using JMSAdmin tool or in WAS using Admin console?.
2. Who should own this creation of .Bindings file..either MQ Admin or WAS admin?.

IMHO - the WAS Admins should do it, using the information supplied by you.

If they do it, there is no .bindings file as such _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys.
