Hi, I was trying to upgrade a qmgr at MQ 6.0.2.1 to MQ 6.0.2.6 and when I tried to remove the 6.0.2.1 fixpack before applying 6.0.2.6, it complained that shared memory segments were still in use. os I removed the segments and semaphores using amqiclen and ipcrm but one memory segment and semaphore kept popping back up , whatever I did, preventing the removal of the fixpack and the upgrade.
How can I identify which task is trying to connect based on a given shared memory segment or semaphore and how do I get around/resolve this issue.
thoughts/comments/usggestions please .... |

Why you want to remove the 6.0.2.1 fixpack at all ?

sure, never removed any fix packages for installing a newer one
Uninstalling a fixpack is only needed in the case it makes trouble. |
