I am having problems creating configurable services, to replace the system
specific parameters of the SAP adapters.
The process I am using is:
Create the DB Parameter:
Stop the Broker
mqsisetdbparms D1BRKR1B -n AccountFinancials.outadapter -u user-p
password
Start the Broker
Create the Configurable Service:
mqsicreateconfigurableservice D1BRKR1B -c SAPConnection -o
AccountFinancials.outadapter -n
applicationServerHost,gatewayHost,gatewayService,logonGroup,SAPSystemID
,client,systemNumber,RFCTraceLevel,RFCTracePath,RFCTraceOn -v
sapcrd,sapcrd,sapgw00,ESB_CALLS,CRD,250,00,0,/logs/esb,flase
I see the following errors:
BIP8984W: Configurable service object name 'SAPConnection :
AccountFinancials.outadapter : SAPSystemID' was not found.
BIP8984W: Configurable service object name 'SAPConnection :
AccountFinancials.outadapter : logonGroup' was not found.
Looking at the manuals, it looks like SAPSystemID and logonGroup are not
supported by the mqsicreateconfigurableservice.
How can I set these parameters from the command line?

Looking at the other connection parameters you've given, I'd say you don't need them...
If you set only the sapmsCRD as being the message service for CRD you would need an RFC group / logon group. But you set the sapgw so this should not be needed....
Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

You can't set those properties from the commandline...., so basically what the manual say is correct
I would expect this to be something in a future release, but you should consider raising a PMR to get attention on this problem.
I think IBM only included the most used properties as a start...
You can consider having an adapter component pr. environment in your workspace and change the adapter component and create a new .bar file each time you promote a change...
