Hi Guys,

MQversion 6.0.2.3 and Solaris 10.

There are 2 QMgrs on this server in our performance test environment.

I see around 950 amqzlaa0 processes running on a server and its consuming all the resources on this server.

When I check on a different performance test server, I see only 5.

Has anybody faced such kind of issue before?.

Thanks.

It sounds like you've got a badly behaved app(s) that's not disconnecting from the queue manager.

Check how many active connections the queue manager thinks it has. Also the connection limits.

may be some monitoring or log process connected with qmanager all the times. Essentially this would take more CPU process to monitor queue or to log.
also check number of open connections..

Yes, you are right. The applications were not disconnecting and also not closing the connections properly, which caused lack of system resources.

Thanks
