hi ,
I have a cmp client program on a windows box which is trying to connect to a configuration manager on a AIX 5.3 box. but, the client is not able to make the connection.(i am getting configmanagerproxypropertynotinitialised exception)
The user on the windows box is say "qauser2". For the configuration manager(on AIX), i have created an acl entry for this user, The user also is a part of mqm and mqrbrkrs on the aix box. The user aslo have full permissions(setmqaut commands) on the configuration manager .
but when i try to use the same cmp client to connect to a configuration manager on another windows machine, i am able to connect, with the same steps as above. but i dont know if somethin additional has to be done for aix.
but one interesting thing is, The user used to login into the AIX box is "mquser", with which the configuration manager, to be connected was created. when i create a user "mquser" on the windows machine(havin the cmp client) and login with it , i am able to connect to thhe configuration manager.
BUT, both "mquser" and "qauser2" hav same previliges on the AIX box, i dont know why this is happening..
Is there anythin i am missing here..
This is my first post. please bare with me if i am doin somethin wrong.
please help me, intelligent minds
thanks

What do you see the output of "mqsilistaclentry" for the user who is not able to connect and for the user who is able to connect?. Is the output same for both?.
Look into the below link: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmbhelp/v6r0m0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.etools.mft.doc/an23050_.htm
Let us know.
Thanks. |

The aclentry of the configuration manager has both "mquser"(which is connecting) and (qauser2) which is not connecting.
