Create a NT account, "mqsi", and set it to be in groups of "Administrator", "Domain Admin", "mqm", "Domain mqm", and log on as "mqsi".
9) Installed MQSI V2.0, success
10) Set account "mqsi" to be in groups of:
mqbrkrs
mqbrdevt
mqbrasgn
mqbropts
mqbrtpic
Domain mqbrkrs
Domain mqbrdevt

11) Create 3 databases for Configuration Manager (MQSICMDB), Message Reposity (MQSIMRDB) and a Broker (MQSIBKDB), success
12) Setup ODBC names for the three databases, success
13) grant all privileges of the three databases to account "mqsi". Success

Command: mqsicreateusernameserver -i mqsi -a mqsi -q MQSIV2
17) Start UserName Server, success (got correct information from NT Event Viewer )
Command: mqsistart UserNameServer
1 Start Broker, success ( got correct information from NT Event Viewer )
Command: mqsistart MQSIV2
19) Start Configuration Manager, got Error message from NT Event Viewer.
Command: mqsistart ConfigMgr
Error Message ( from NT Event Viewer ):
================================
( Configuration Manager ) Caught a Java exception.
A Java exception was caught via the JNI from the ConfigurationManager.initialize class. The exception text is: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: doPrivileged.
This is an internal error, possibly due to a faulty installation. Stop the Configuration Manager service and contact your IBM support center.
=================================
I also tried to start MQSI Control Center, I put the host name, port and queue manager name, and got the following error message:
=======================================
DAV1361 The URL was: http://localhost/developmq/apple:1414/MQSIV2/Broker.
DAV1361 The URL was:
http://localhost/developmq/apple:1414/MQSIV2/MessageProcessingNodeType/ComIBMMQInput
=======================================
Actually, I've tried several times. I've also tried to install MQ V5.2 (with CSD for MQ V5.2) and/or DB/2 UDB V7.0, still the same problem. Half one year ago, I used the same copy and got a successful installation.
Can anyone tell me what wrong this time?
Thanks in advance! |

Hi,
I would suspect the version of JDK here. There is not need to install JDK seperately. MQSI will install JDK on your machine and it will use the same version.
Are you sure you are using MQSI V2.0 version?? Did you install CSD for MQSI V2.0 and MQSeries 5.1?
The recommend sequence of starting MQSI services is:
User Name Server
Config Mgr
