Hi Guys,
We are using Omegamon XE as the MQ monitoring tool.

We need to copy the messages on a queue to a file on our desktop to take a backup of the messages. Not sure whether this feature is available in Omegamon XE.

Lets say if I want to save the messages on Dead letter queue to a file, in the TEPS console, I see work spaces with Dead letter queue messages and I dont any copy option there. I see an Export panel but with that I am not able to save the exact message to a file.

I would appreciate if somebody share this information with me.

Thanks.

I never did it this way and unfortunately I can't remember if it was possible. I'd send the question to IBM.

Otherwise, you could do this with support pac IH03 (rfhutil).

We are not allowed to use IH03 support pac as our servers within firewall and we cant even install rfhutil on our desktops as we dont even have admin rights on our desktops. As we are dealing with sensitive data, our management wont allow us to install such kind of tools.

As we can access all the servers through Tivoli TEPS console, I was wondering whether Omegamon XE can provide me a copy of the messages in case if the app team wants the messages on a particular queue, lets say Dead Letter Queue.

Can anybody let me know on this.

Thanks.
