I need to create some reports like # of msgs by source qmgr, put time, reply-to-q, etc... but I can't find the way to do it.
Is there any software, support pac, or what ever (free) to do something like that ?
thanks. |

There's any number of support pacs that will example a queue and extract MQMD details. I'm not aware of anything that will export them directly into a spreadsheet or similar but a small amount of scripting should do it.
I'm slightly alarmed you have so many messages sitting on a queue that you need an automated report. It's really not a good place to store stuff. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

MQJExplorer is the software using which you can import the messages from the queue to a file.
And then after you can use that file to put the messages back, if you want.
It all depends on your requirement.

MO71 does a nice unload of messages (which can remain on the queue or not as wished).
The MQMD gets formatted in the unload file. |

You can do this even with the rfhutil(support pack IH03), you can save all the messages (Save Q) in queue to a file or to multiple files and load it back to queue.. _________________ -----------------------------------------------
