Has anyone stumbled on any evidence that MQ7 certification is near? Or
have IBM indicated that the MQ6 exams (994 and 996) are the way to fly
for 2009?

IBM started working on MQ V7 intermediate certification, may be available in another couple of months..but there is no hint of retiriring existing certification 994 & 996

I know 996 has been retired. Not sure about 994. Could you anyone let know of this ?

Where did that information come from? I didn't realise I was on the scrapheap yet

The IBM website is still showing it as 'live'.

hopefully by end of this month we will get an update about intermediate certification for mq 7..watch out this space for further updates

test 994 & 996 were available, the only change is you have to pay 100 $
