Hello, experts!
I've got a problem mentioned above and have no clue what's going on.

From time to time the MQ stops working on this server and it starts again after 40-50 min without any intervention from our side.

The only error that I find in the logs was:

16/12/2008 13:44:03 - Process(4684.702) User(4050TMQP) Program(amqrmppa.exe)
AMQ9207: The data received from host 'defrwbp121dbk36 ((ä†)' is not valid.

EXPLANATION:
Incorrect data format received from host 'defrwbp121dbk36 ((ä†)' over TCP/IP.
It may be that an unknown host is attempting to send data. An FFST file has
been generated containing the invalid data received.
ACTION:
Tell the systems administrator.

16/12/2008 13:44:03 - Process(4684.702) User(4050TMQP) Program(amqrmppa.exe)
AMQ6183: An internal WebSphere MQ error has occurred.

EXPLANATION:
An error has been detected, and the WebSphere MQ error recording routine has
been called. The failing process is process 4684.

That's what is written in FFST file:

What is suspicious for me - it strange hostname ('defrwbp121dbk36 ((ä†)' ) in the error log. What's that - ((ä†)?

Could you please give me some hints what can be the cause of such behavior?

Thank you in advance!

Is someone running a port scanner against your queue manager listener port?
