Is anyone out there using v6.1 with SAP Input Node where they are using "Extension IDocs" as opposed to a "Basic IDocs"?
I don't have a problem using Extension IDocs while going to SAP but when I receive an Extention Idoc it always gives me the following error:
Code: |
'commonj.connector.runtime.SelectorException: Business object definition for 'SapDelvry05ex' in namespace 'http://www.ibm.com/xmlns/prod/websphere/j2ca/sap/sapdelvry05ex' not found.
Business object definition for 'SapDelvry05ex' in namespace 'http://www.ibm.com/xmlns/prod/websphere/j2ca/sap/sapdelvry05ex' not found.
|
I have tried two different Extension IDocs and both give the same error. "Basic IDocs" from SAP have no problem.
I am using 6.1.0.3.
Thanks! |

That's because you need to download the extended definition of the IDOC at design time and have it available at runtime.
Remember that the extended definition of the IDOC is not necessarily a subset of the standard IDOC... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

I do have the extended definitions. The Message Set is all there with the extended ones, just like the basic ones. Besides getting the extended definitions, I am not doing anything different for the basic as opposed to the extended. Should I be?
Does anybody have a working solution using extended Idoc in v6.1 using SAP Input node? It is such a basic funtionality which is why I don't think there is a problem in this version of Broker. But who knows. |

Yes you should be doing things differently for the extended definitions.
The EDI control segment (EDI_DC40?) specifies whether the IDOC is the standard one or the extended definition. This should allow you to branch accordingly.
Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
